Acuity Quality Assurance Program

Our approach to ensuring quality is multifaceted. Integrity and quality are foundational values for our company. Our commitment to integrity begins with the managing partners of our firm and extends to the newest professional. Everyone understands the importance of quality within our culture and the expectation that every employee will meet the highest standards of professional conduct.

Acuity refers to itself collectively as “Team Acuity,” which comprises our employees, consultants, and specialists. Team Acuity is sensitive to the characteristics of the environment in which the Navy and its ordering activities operate. This sensitivity is reflected in our approach, methodology, tools, and technologies.

Team Acuity brings substantial technical training and support, professional development and training support, analytical and organizational and assessment support, and program support experience to this effort.

We integrate experience and best practices into our approach and methodology in supporting technical training initiatives. Acuity has a proven track record of developing and facilitating structured technical training classes/seminars for our clients. We tailor our training to meet the unique environment and specific needs of our client.

With regard to professional development and training support, we develop training materials based on implementation of National Security Personnel System (NSPS), Competency Alignment initiatives, and other workforce training efforts related to Human Capital Strategies.

In the area of analytical and organizational assessment support, Team Acuity follows a sound, proven process in providing this support to our clients. In a typical engagement, this process involves analyzing and assessing an organization’s functions to determine where greater efficiencies can be implemented to support the organization’s mission. Once we have identified these areas, our analysts make recommendations for improvement, develop a resolution plan, implement the agreed-to recommendations, and analyze the results.

Regarding program support services, we consistently deliver successful results for our clients in all phases of their projects by leveraging the skills of our experienced and diversified staff of Project Management Professionals, Certified Public Accountants, Government Financial Managers, Certified Defense Financial Managers, and DAWIA-certified government contracting officers. Many of our staff have over 20 years of experience in their respective fields and can apply knowledge from key DoD and federal policies and regulations (such as DoD 5000, the Federal Acquisition Regulation, and the Financial Management Regulation) to drive actionable results. We have a long-standing record of quickly and effectively analyzing complex situations and developing cost-effective solutions tailored our clients’ needs.

Team Acuity has personnel resources in many locations across the United States. Our senior audit staff has extensive experience managing and participating in projects nationwide, and our team has traveled extensively to conduct these projects. As a result, we are in an outstanding position to assist the Navy and its ordering agencies with solutions proposed under SeaPort-e. Team Acuity brings a wealth of skill and experience, allowing us to provide the full portfolio of competencies to the Navy and its ordering agencies and customers.
